Mrgreeneyes, Didderson, White Comet, Magnum 375, brn-n-jpn, etc ALL you guys

As i understand it you guys are taking over the 240 section of NICO haha :]

Just wanna say your close knit group of friends with a common interest is a real inspiration.Like a think-tank of minds all with the goal making your cars the best they can be.

Having read most of your build threads (haven't gotten to White Comet's NOVEL yet), it seems you guys are always willing to help each other out and I admire that.

Kinda sucks for a guy like me, stuck out in Hawaii. HUGE JDM scene out here, but hard to find underground meets & people willing to lend you what you need, be it tools, a garage or even just a hand. . .

Got a question though: About how old are you guys?

Anyways, keep up the great work and I hope to learn as much as I can from your crew.Pignose for life!

Well thank you.

I wish we had a bigger car scene out here... It's all VWs and hick trucks. I, myself am 18. One of the youngest ones.

^Duff's Jealous. lol

we are anywhere from 16 to 24, and yeah, we are about the only ones doing much on here anymore.

we like a lot of the west coast attitudes of just going out, having fun, and putting the right foot to the floor often, but add a little east coast flavor to it, while trying to make some unique 240's.

i guess we do kinda have a scene going on out here...

thanks for the shout out dude. enjoy the threads, theres a lot of pics/info/fun stuff going on

Starting on your thread now! Not a huge fan of coupes but the fact you got it broken down for $400 must mean theres a great story behind it

How big is Lancaster? I got a family friend down there I could crash with. I wanna check out this scene and feast on some Lebanon baloney.

Haha.. uuh thanks for the shoutout man lol?! I'm the 24 y/o nub. Thanks for the build thread love too! I try to keep it fresh haha..

We've just been working on each others cars (well iirc me WC me and kietdude go back to '06). Once WC sold a trans to Keegan we knew we had a wiring specialist amongst us hhahah... then that was like winter 07-08 Keegan N I did my sr swap, and we met Doug driving my newly swapped car to Keegan's work lol. I went to HS with Dante and his buds. It's all pretty interwoven heh. Went to Hacc in Hbg with Joel for 2 years and rubbed off the 240 bug on him! We should call it the mid-state crew kinda because Josh n Dale are from York and Joel's from Harrisburg, and I'm technically living in Hbg for the school year.

Been learning a ton about s13's collectively for quite some time I guess. It's always nice to get everyone together to pull together a new build or install something that one of us needs more help on, but it doesn't happen as much these days.

Still, it's a blast to drive together! That's why I like driving to meets with everyone at the same time, adds to the Hype haha.

I shall stop writing. Come meet up YO!

Quote »Yeah, PA is frustrating. *cough* Nick Merrone *cough*[/quote]Amaaaaaaazingly awesome statement! I met him at a sonic meet and I just knew I'd never be joining his website.

How big is it? Lanc. county has a population of 500K pplz, so we has a lot of stuff, and still poop and buggies on the roads which annoy me sometimes :P

LOL....Jerk off to one another's SRs.....There's only 2 running right now....

I dont really feel as though I'm that big a part, but I've been on the boards and hearing about 240's for 2 and half years from Tom, so I finally broke down and got one after my relationship ended with a chick. I agree with Tom, it should be called the Midstate crew, because its spread out, but all within an hour of each other. I just love this scene and set of forums better then my other car forum I'm part of because I have local help. In fact, I'm holding a big meet this weekend coming up, the 16th, for PA crew, installing some stuff on my car, and just chilling out afterwards. Anyone else from PA crew is welcome to come out.

Rofl.. We aren't as 'cool' as a real drift team or cough "tribe," but we jokingly think about making something along the lines of that sometimes lawl.

Josh I acutally didn't edit it for you, more like Joel hahahaha... You know I's forever in your debt for allowing me to swap my car and make my engine bay pretty in your garage Yeah once I moved to hbg and keegan n doug met up with peeps from reading, I'd say our connections grew by a lot this year. I like to think that I know everyone around here who owns a 240, but I still don't!

Yeah, we have a lot of other friends, just not on this website. Getting to know a local drifter named Damien, Kerber, Berger, etc. Expect to see tons of drift events this summer.

Tom and I know a few guys around Harrisburg from the Brothers Meets, quite a decent 240 following there as well. I just dont think they have to the time for forums like we do.

hey guys, dont forget about drift camp is coming up soon at maple grove. i got this from pete, the guy who got the first drift camp together at reading expo.

I just wanted to inform you that this year we have secured Maple Grove Raceway for April 24 and 25 2010 for the Greater Reading Auto Expo. This is will be a similar event as last years event at the expo center(Drift Camp). We will have Drifting, AutoX, an Import Car Show, a Domestic Car Show, an import swap meet, mobile dyno, audio competition, and more. We will be giving away 1 gated and water cooled GT35 Turbo each day as a raffle prize. We are looking for event sponsors, vendors, and participants. Registration for this event will start at the end of January. We do intend to sell out of driver position as we did last year.

Questions, comments, or suggestions Call or email me back, <[email protected]> 570-640-3535

The Lancaster crew does it big and did some serious networking over the years. Ive actually known Keegan for years (how long has it been Keegan? lol). Im pretty sure we were the first to get something going and he later branched out and met up with the guys we know now. People from York (Lancaster's neighbor) dont network at all. THey're mostly a bunch of s*** heads out here. Except you Josh...lol.

I just just lurk around on these forums and chime in once in awhile. Most of my friends and life doesn't revolve around cars so this scene is more of a hobby and I see myself as an "enthusiast." I wish my girl was interested in cars though.

But when I need the help or an emergency part, the PA crew manages to pull through. Cant wait for the summer so we can all meet up again and do some cruises and winding road adventures.
