Lol we'll see. I plan to get PBM coils & other suspension SPL & as far as motor i have a spare vg30dett & im doing research on it cause i would love to have a very different 240 specially on the east coast so i think ill go with that. wheels maybe Advan RGII's or Desmond Regamasters but at the end which ever gives me a great stance ill go with

I've actually been toying with the idea of swapping a VG30DETT into my S13. From everything I've gathered it seems like you pretty much have to remove one of the turbos to fit it in there. I haven't actually done any legwork though, just searched around on the interweb. Good luck with the build.

Yeaaa it just seems like major fitment problem would be turbos & manifolds & piping which i believe all can be fabricated & i want a perfect wire tuck so my engine bay can look flawless & i was thinking of getting the manifold Ferrari wrinkle red or Wrinkle black.

I've owned a z32 and working in the engine bay was a PITA and one of the reasons i sold it.But i dont think thats going to stop you since you already have a block already.

Yeaa my only concerns right now is power steering a/c & heat which i wouldn't mind giving up a/c & heat but with that heavy VG i need to look into that & ** does anyone know if anyone has ever did a gauge cluster swap ? i was thinking 5th gen max ?

Nice start. I say ditch the VG for something else, smaller and just as powerful. You could turbo that single you already have in there before you drop in a swap.

^^ i second that. with the money you can spend on an SR swap, you can be different and turbo the single slammer. i will be doing the same thing,, its torquey and a fun motor to begin with,,, and it has 8:5:1 compression, 8:6:1: if its a 89 (i believe i have it correct, someone doublecheck that)..

Do research if you want. as far as i have researched:

350hp

cxracing turbokit, 360cc injectors, walbro 255lph fuel pump, and a nice tune would get you to 350hp. obviously new spark plugs would be needed too.

before all that, check compression! good luck with your car though!!

I was actually thinking of building an all motor ka with itb's as my daily & fixing the vg untill i get a 300zx shell

Smaller and just as powerful? HAHAPut the same turbo with the same boost on a VG compared to a KA and you will ALWAYS make more power with the VG.

What does this prove? That your dumb.

A lot of misinformation here...Your not going to make 350hp on 370cc injectors (sr injectors) they max out at around 300whp and even then your pushing it. You shouldn't take injectors past 80% duty cycle and its always a good idea to have at least that much room in case you overboost. Lean conditions from too small injectors will blow your motor FAST.

Also, your going to need a tune, a bigger MAF, and many more supporting mods. Also, I would not recommend a CXracing turbo, cheap quality=lower power and lower reliability. DO NOT CHEAP OUT ON MOVING PARTS OR TUNES, YOUR MOTOR WILL BLOW UP.

One more thing, don't just check compression...do a leak down test, pull the valve cover to check the condition of the head, check timing chain for slack and tensioners for movement.

Just a reminder, the KA does not make much power all motor...even with ITB's and an amazing tune your not going to get over 200whp and to even get up to that power level your going to need high comp pistons and a dynojet. Also, like any highly modified engine, it will not be very reliable for dd'ing.
