liquid gasket. Not an excessive amount though. You don't want it to sandwich and squeeze a lot on the inside and risk it breaking off and could potentially get stuck in the oil pick up.

speaking of which. is there a upper oil pan gasket or is that also silicone gasket maker?

sr20det BTW

Just noticed it leaking from the upper pan.

whats all invovled with doing this fix??

Does that require transmission & flywheel removal to access the rear main seal?

if so id have to do front and rear seals?

im thinking of maybe pulling the motor again but ugh can it be done on the car?
