NO NO NO!!!! DO NOT USE brake cleaner!!!!! Most brake cleaner has chlorine in them along with other corrosive cleaners which will distroy the diod in the sensor. CRC makes a specifice MAF sensor cleaner that is dielectric.Q451990 wrote: Clean the MAF and it's screen with brake parts cleaner.

How many times did I tell you ur advice stink? K&N has no effect to Maf sensor if oil the filter properly.Paul Wall wrote:Yes!
The Krap and No good filter (K&N) has oil that destroys the sensor. And is more free flowing at the expense of filtration so the engine will suffer as well. Go OEM or go home in my book.
the idea of spraying brake cleaner to maf is dumbest things people do to their cars. I guess bubba can do his own wayQ451990 wrote:Yes. Especially if the filter is over-oiled. It's very common for the oil from the filter to migrate back and coat the MAF. I would suggest going back to an OEM filter - and intake if you're running a non-oem filter box. Clean the MAF and it's screen with brake parts cleaner.

Fully synthetic Mobil 1 oil can last up to 7000 miles if all highway driving. Combining stop and go in the city and highway driving oil change every 3750 miles is fine.Paul Wall wrote:Owners manual and service manual also say not to use any cleaning agents for the fuel injectors as well. Owners manual also says to change oil every 3750 MILES!!!So why don't you follow the owners manual to the letter ans see how your crap shoot of a car turns out, Your car is OVER RICED.
Yes and no because it seems this guy is somewhat good with computers.Q451990 wrote:

So you want me to stop posting in the Q45 section? If so I can gladly oblige I mean I have problems of my own to attend to.Troy8899 wrote:Fully synthetic Mobil 1 oil can last up to 7000 miles if all highway driving. You are kiddo posting incompetent advices to everyone and nobody really give a damn what u have to say then ask other members for advice simple thing as blown fuses. Many years from now when u fully matured and understand your naive action and laugh your a$$ off- WE ALL DO
I use Mobil 1 full synthetic and change my oil every 3k or 3 months, whichever comes first. I have always followed the 3k/3month rule for a very long time. The last 12 months I only drove 4k and changed my oil 4 times. I would really be uncomfortable changing my oil at 7k and would not trust the filter. How often do you change your oil and what kind of oil do you use?Troy8899 wrote:Fully synthetic Mobil 1 oil can last up to 7000 miles if all highway driving. I resent your comments about Paul. He has worked very hard at educating himself about the Q45, probably even more than 98% of the members here and has a strong dedication to it. He may be young and may still be learning but he goes out of his way to help people whenever he can and as best as he can. It takes time and experience.Troy8899 wrote:You are kiddo posting incompetent advices to everyone and nobody really give a damn what u have to say then ask other members for advice simple thing as blown fuses.
