I know most of us on here are waaay to young to be on heart medications, but we may know someone who is.

Basically the FDA says that if you're on Plavix and are taking heartburn medications Nexium or Prilosec, that they may cut the effectiveness of Plavix by up to half. Plavix can cause heartburn, so it is sometimes prescribed with heartburn medication. If you or anyone you know is taking a combination of these, please ask them to speak to their physicians.
