I was just looking over my game collection, which is mostly PC games. I've looked over it and noticed some very popular titles that I have never really played.

This is my list:

PC:OblivionBaldur's GateMass EffectBioshockNeverwinter NightsRome Total WarMedieval 2 Total War

PSP:Final Fantasy Tactics

Playstation:Chrono ChrossFinal Fantasy VIIIFinal Fantasy IX

Playstation 2:Xenosaga 2Xenosaga 3Kingdom Hearts 1,2

All these games here I've maybe played for an hour or 2 each and never got into them to progress any further. Anybody has their own lists?

Oblivion and Bioshock were two of my games that I never really got into as well. I still havent gotten far at all in Oblivion, but a month ago or so I finally sat down and played Bioshock and really got into it, and I think its definitely worth playing through if you have the time.

I'm on my 3rd run through MGS4. Not using any of the special end-game stuff you get though.

Hundreds?

Hell, I think I have over a hundred SEALED PS1 titles alone, probably two dozen sealed DC games, some sealed N64 games, etc. None are dupes of anything else in the collection.

Then I also have dozens and dozens of loose or complete (i.e. not sealed) games I've never gotten around to playing.

Now why is that is my next question. I remember when I was a kid back in the Genesis, SNES times. Remember getting a game, then mastering the living crap out of it. Beating a game without dying once, beating the game as fast as possible. Beating the game like 10 different times before a new one was purchased. I no longer do that stuff. I just seem to abandon games.

Concentration killed all those fun things we used to do with already completed games. We get so many games per year that by the time we finish one there is another one waiting to be played.I actually kinda miss the days i used to finish a game, then try breaking my speed run record and/or do death free runs. Now as soon as i finish a game it almost never touches my drive again...only really really good games get more play in which i try speed or deathfree runs *the only game ive done this with recently is Too Human(ironic i know)

But to add to the discussion*GTA4 - and i never looked backBorderlands - Im disappointed in myself about this oneHalo3ODST - im going to sell this ASAPMarvel Ultimate Alliance 2 - Sad cuz im a comic nerd and i played the shiit outta the first gameProtoType - I just got bored of doing the same thing over and overFarCry 2 - Good idea on paper....s***y executionCondemned 2 - One of the best games ever....until you get the super scream....then it all goes to shiit...never put it in my drive again.

I'm really, really picky about games (and everything else). I also don't ever really stop enjoying games I like. Those two things together mean I rarely buy games I don't play, and I few games I own even end up forgotten with age.Only games that look like they'll hold my interest are worth buying IMO. I don't screw around with many mediocre titles. I don't buy throwaway franchise games like COD which are designed to be bought, played, and returned before the next sequel. So there's rarely something on my shelf that's not interesting to me.

one main diffrence for me would problaby be as a kid, i had a few games and that was it, if i wanted another game, it would be me going out and working to get one, or wait for christmas. now a days i go out, and if i see a good game i'll buy it. so now i have a dozen games sitting there, and when i get to a tough point or a game starts wearing on me i just play something else to have fun with.

Chrono Cross and FFVIII are must plays if you're an RPG fan. They're two of my top 3 RPGS of all time, the other being FFX.

Games collecting dust that probably shouldn't:Final Fantasy XIIGears of War 2IcoValkyrie Profile 2BorderlandsUncharted 2

Also GTA4, but i'm not so sure it shouldn't be collecting dust. I was not impressed at all.

Set up a Battle.net account. Enter your DII CD key. Download CD-less version. Play Diablo II. Enjoy.

I have a ton of games that I picked up and never really played, mostly for the PS2, though I do have a couple for the OG xbox and the 360. I don't even know where to start, the list would take up a whole page by itself.
