It has full duel exhaust so i know the problem is on that side.. just prior to all this my car started running like turd so i swung by a couple mechanics and asked then for thier oppinions they all seemed to think injector, exhaust valve, or spark issue. went to my sisters and her boyfriend helped me diagnose it.. we got as far as the #2 injector and it didnt work at all. tested the wiring and it was sending pulses like we assumed it should so we tested the injector and nothing.. actuator is bad.. so i just shove everything back together cause i gotta go to work in the morning 60miles away. so i screwed up my o rings and didnt realize it till i had left for my morning break. while driving i realized that i was smelling fuel so i looked under the hood when i got back and sure enough there was gas running over my injector and pooling on my motor so i rip the injector out and slap the closest orings i can find in it. and it stopped the leak from over the top but it poured white smoke when i fired it up. WTF?!?! right. the lower or inner o ring was small so i thaught over fuel but that should be black smoke right??. and it smelled horrid not like antifreeze but like oil and gas.. but was pure white smoke??? no milky or foamy oil and water was low but i added to it and ran it till it heated up and no rainbows. Oil is kinda old but my car doesnt turn oil black it just slightly darkens the gold in its 3000miles. im lost and need info. please help..

when fuel vaporizes it creates a white smoke. if your injector is leaking it could be pouring gas into a hot cylinder creating a hail of white smoke. dont run your car like that if it is over fueling it can fill up the cylinder and hydrolock.

First fix the oring, change your oil, and get a bottle of gas/ fuel injector treatment. the treatment works best if you have around half a tank and use the full bottle of treatment, that shoudl fix your problem. good luck

this was my only vehicle so i had to drive it home from work and when i got to my home only 16miles from work it had stopped with the white smoke but some dip left the radiator cap off and is crying tears of joy that the motor didnt get hot but due to the lack of radiator cappage i cant find out if it uses water.. but i am thinking it is because of the vaporizing fuel idea and so what can i do.. i gotta drive to work and when i hit mapleton 15miles down the road my dad said that there was no more white smoke (he was following me) so does that mean jack??

oh and i had ran most of a can of chemtool b12 or whatever in it at half tank on my way back from my sisters.. that plus gas getting around my inner o ring have been the issue?? i put the factory o ring back on the inner most part it left the least white smoke pouring out.. and what doesnt make sence about the vaporizing theory is that my engine was cold when it did it worst.. so it was dumping fuel into a cold cylinder wouldnt vaporize unless it was blowing through and hit the cat? or preheater would that do it.. friend thaught the cat would ignite it instead of vaporize it..

when my injector was leaking i was getting raw fuel in the exhaust. enough that my test pipe filled with gas and was dripping out on the driveway. maybe it was vaporizing on the cat, i am not sure there is enough oxygen in the exhaust to facilitate an actual burn in the cat.

Ok so now I had put the factory inner o-ring back in the injector. Now my car starts up and steams for a minute. The right hand exhause stays white slightly longer than the left; I assume due to the fact that that exhause has to cross the width of the car so it would take longer to heat up the pipe and vaporize the condensation. The odd thing is my exhaust note sounds even, but the injector was dead and wasnt even trying to click, the idle seems fine but when its warm and I put it in D the idle drops to about 550rpm seems low to me but im not certain.

I can smell antifreeze burning but am pretty sure thats just due to my idiotic manuever. The water in my exhaust tips is perfectally clear and smells like exhaust.
