I just bought a Holset H1c turbo for my slow SR20 future build. I was looking at the turbo and the housing looks kind of big for what I'm looking for. I was thinking about buying a smaller housing. I'm not sure if it is a 22cm or 18 cm housing. Should I go for a 14cm or 12cm housing instead of the larger housing?

Thanks.

I'm going for 300-350whp. It is going to be a street/daily driver.

Well you can get a regular T3 .63 a/r rear housing and get the rear opened (no ****) by a machine shop (approx $20.00 if so much) and bolt it on.

It will spool perferct. We had one on a race car that we had and it had a .48a/r housing from a t3 and the response was almost instantaneous.
