S14 hvac problem

I can't find anything helpful, just led problems or heater core problems....

Heater blows just fine, however none of the buttons will change it from floor to defrost etc. , it just blows with no direction. I'm seriously in need of a defrost i'm tired of wiping my windshield with my sleeve lol

I just got another hvac off ebay, and still no change. so I either got ripped off, or I replaced the wrong part....

any help is super appreciated. tia...

There's a small motor on the side of the air box...real close to steering column, That little motor has gears that are stripped..change it and poblem is solved....

Just waiting on the part from nissan and hopefully I can install it asap. should be here in the next day or two.

changed out the little motor next to the column. still no change.....lol I really feel like I'm missing something, I guess I'll try another hvac unit, or try and find something....

Sounds like the mode motor/actuator or the air/mix motor/actuator

Mode actuator: 27731-70F00air/mix actuator: 27732-70F00

U dont need another HVAC control unit, that wouldnt affect which doors and actuators open or close on the heating unit. U need an actuator, or the heating unit has a broken arm on an actuator, but the HVAC control unit is not the problem...

awesome info. looks like I ordered the mode actuator and it made no difference so I'll order the air/mix actuator....I'll update the post when I getthe part in, maybe it'll help others...
