So, this evening. me and my girlfriend were walking out to my Z, (for those of you know i have a TT and a NA) of course i drove my TT for my lady friend. as we walked outside talking about the movie, as i walked to my side of the car, she simple says "so how did that happen?? pointing at my door, my first thought. Great some bastard hit my door. as i painfully walk to the other side of my Z, i look... and i kid you not, there was a bullet hole in my door. i was able to look into my car. through the hole. As i called the cops there had been reports that there had been gunshots in the area. but they couldnt find the persons related or even the slugs they shot. Now to anyone who lives in North Carolina already knows Durham is a pretty Twisted place in terms of the violent crimes... as the cops came down to the scene they virutally took my car apart looking for the bullet which turned out to be a (i kid you not) .357 magnum bullet. was sticking in the side of the chair. now, im beyond shocked. and in pain my Z has taken a bullet. Though, She is now the yellow Nightrider... i call her Sunrider now, due to the fact when i drive the wind through the hole whistles. yes, My Z can now talk to me... The Officer digging out the slug could only say, shame... thats a nice Honda.
Now im an 4 year Afghan vet, (no worries i wont shoot i fought for you freedom nonsense...) Now ive taken fire in our Humvee's. but never in my life did i ever think that My Z (sunrider) could take a round! This is ridicolous! Pictures up soon!
So this is gonna be hard to believe, But i think my Z took a bullet...

O man..i live in raleigh, nc..near Wake MED...my neighborhood is isnt badm but when i go through the downtown area, and park my Z there...im pretty scared, now i know not to go to Durham!....you wouldnt happen to have pics of this would you?...but thats terrible!..and for the COP calling your car a honda is like a slap in the face ..but im not suprised, ppl always ask what type of car that is wen i say tis a 300zx...they say who makes it..some ppl say Oh like a 350z..(clearly not like it but at elast they know its part of the family)

Damn man that's crazy... I also am a 5 year vet. I served in Iraq and Afghan... Stationed at Ft. Bragg in Fayetteville. I got rounds slung at me in a Wal-Mart parking lot a week after I got home from Afghan.! NC is a crazy place man haha

Ah thanks for the Sympathy folks! I want to patch it up, but im not sure how. Ive done minor body work... though ill have to get a new door i think, and maybe a new seat. Either that or im going to have to find a new door panel! decisions decisions! i have to admit, when i heard saturn, i felt better about Honda.... haha anyways, the lady friend thought i was a "bamf" so it works out in that category!
