Low rpm (between 1,00&1500 rpms) vibration/noise is this the cvt? Should I be concerned.Only has 1700 miles on It,really anoying driving between 30 & 40 mph through town.Love the vehicle otherwise.

this is completely normal and unfortunately i dont like it either but it is how the CVT works, it chooses the highest "gear ratio" for best fuel economy, and the torque converter disengages etc...

search for other threads this has been talked about immensely

It is called lugging the engine, using the highest gear possible without stalling the engine for better fuel economy.

Personally, I like it a lot (I am not as good as the computer to do it), especially when I fill up the car.

With all due respect, if you do a search you will find that this has been brought up many times before and is totally normal.I am not trying to be difficult, but this issue has been beaten to death.

lol.....

That was my exact reaction the first week I got the car.

WTF is that vibration I'm feeling...new cars shouldn't be doing this.

But you get used to it and pretty much block it out.

I don't like it much too but the car is damn good on gas because of the lugging.

Like the others said, it's normal for the CVT. If your transmission starts to fail you will know it. My transmission problem was very obvious.
