scratched garage door opener buttons...

My 06' M35 has scratched garage door opener buttons from previous owner with possible claws? Is there a way I can 'pop' them out and replace? Or do I need to replace the entire mirror which is definitely not cost effective. I thought there was a TSB on this but I am out of warranty already. Also the START button writing has half way faded as expected I guess I will remove the rest of the writing lightly with wax? i know I am being too picky on appearance even though function is fine.

I have the same problem, it's annoying but don't know if there is anything I can do about it

You can't get to that page without a 24 hour "viewing" subscription. Costs $20 and is well worth it ... to download all the manuals and TSB's.

Ah, dang. My TSB's are out of date ... I only have till ITB08022 ... will have to go get the latest ones soon.
