video of my sr making a weird nose, i am not fimiliar with this sound

Heres a video that was taken right after start up in the morning about 50 F so its a little cold. the second video of it is after i let it sit for about 5 minutes the nose was still there but it was dramatically less noisy.

After taking it out for a spin at normal boost I took another video of it and the noise is gone and she sounds fine. keep in mind the idle is fine on her the whole time.

i have the same problem. its only when the engine is cold & and been off for a while. i thought it was the turbo, so i checked the turbo and did a boost leak test. and it was all fine. but i noticed when i pressed on the clutch when the noise was present, it would come back. and when i let go it would go away. so im pretty sure its has to do with the clutch system/transmission area.

well blueballa yours is the throw out bearing in the clutch it prob sounds more like a whining sound which sounds nothing like the knocking sound he posted in the video.

ohh ic. that makes sense. it sounded similar to his noise. but if his is a knock, wouldnt it knock consistantly??
