So my baseline run showed 233hp and 254tq. I havent seen a number this low on this forum for a M45. But anyways final run numbers 253hp and 274 Tq....so im thinking no big deal?

baseline was 233??? Thats seems way low for the M45...Should be around 250-260HP stock at the wheels.

How did you have it tuned?

how hot was it outside? was your car idling for a long time between runs? did they put a fan in front of your car to keep heatsoak to a minimum?

that 233 baseline doesn't sound right, and you are in VA; you guys have some of the best climate conditions in the country for when it comes to 1/4 times and putting down good HP numbers

Wanna say it was like 65 degrees out and yeah there was a huge fan in front of the car. I mentioned to Dave at Function Tuned about the low number and he said that this particular dyno was very conservative compared to a Dynojet dyno. (Dyno Dynamics)

So i was doing some research on this and found out through different forums..(bmw, audi, honda, subaru) that the Dyno Dynamics aka heartbreaker dyno, does indeed make lower number than a mustang dyno and way lower number than a dynojet. From what i found the dyno dynamics shows 10-15% lower than a dynojet. so i guess calulating with 12.5% im at about 285hp which is closer to what others are seeing. Overall im very happy with the tune, car pulls harder specially felt 4500 to 6000 rpm. didnt get to play with it much because of the rain but the sun is coming out and ill get on it tonight.

i think your right about different dyno's on different days (temp, humidity, etc.).. the big thing is your before and after difference.. I don't think 20 hp and 20 lbs. tq are bad at all.. definitely makes me want to do it.. do you have any other mods done (exhaust, intake etc?).. report back when it dry's up and your able to get on it a few times! btw, you mind sharing what the whole thing cost you?? congrats!

Car is completely stock except for mufflers. I paid 800 but now the program from uprev is 300 so expect to pay 700 or so.
