i sacraficed a little bit on video quality to get ones with the woodgrain shroud to match my interior. one thing you should not over look is adding a video signal booster they are cheap but make a world of difference. i can help you more with more details, do you want to buy pre loaded monitors (come with all new headrest) or do hands on work?

Well I want to keep my stock headrests, so i really want universal headrests preferably ones that i can zip up and cover when there not in use.

So far my whole stereo is transferable so all of my add-ons i want to keep that way. Just in case I destroy the car tomorrow or for some reason i have to get a new one I wont have to buy a stereo for it.

What is this video signal booster you speak of and why do you suggest it?

Loook sick. Thread jack, are 2 12" MTX Jackhammers in a sealed box with a Jackhammer amp capable of 1000W RMS any good for $475?

I dig the headrests they look great! The box isn't really my style but if it sounds good and you dig it then you're set.

slick the reason i used the booster is because after installing my monitors intaially the quality was a little sub par because video is transferred a little like sound. the run and qaulity of a cable will effect what you see on the screens in my case i was kind of upset with what i was seeing out of my screens through some research i found a booster for roughly 20 bucks it was well worth it to make the screens look amazing.

heres what i have:

http://www.soundstormlab.com/main/573

they offer it with 4 video out puts rather then 7 but the price difference was so small i went on the safe side. anyways each out put has a gain like a sound amplifier. obviously do your own reaserach or pick your own brand if you would like. i feel like for what you pay for monitors the extra 20 to be truely haappy is a small price to pay let me know if you have anymore ?s i would be glad to help you out.

some headrest come with covers that zip, but i dont feel the need to hide mine bc they are very hard to see since they are flush mounted. :

just an example there is better deals out there.... you ever think about just having slip covers made?

slick was your question answered man?

Thanks everyone for the comments and empty v the box does sound good the overall appearence isnt my favorite but its better then having a piece of crap with a bunch of plastic accents and asking everyone if its good.

nala if you dont know good subs join up to a car audio forum dont sit here and ask us about a ton of setups. better yet dont buy a combo put time thought and effort into finding the componets you want to accent your personal taste
