My family wasn't the richest one on the block, but my Dad had a car that I still think about fondly to this day, a 1986 Toyota Celica GT-S. We got it for 350 dollars, it had 150,000 miles on it, had some rust, and leaked some oil. Even the shocks were pretty much blown out. That thing would burn rubber like mad, screaming it's head off. I was too young to drive at that time, so my memories are that of riding shotgun. If I ever find another one like that, I would definitely scoop it up. Great car. Here's one doing a burnout... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQ4-e7jNgQg I think I would have wound it out more, but alas...

Because Mom and Pop was looking for a bigger car and it was either that or a 96 Dodge Intrepid. They were replacing a Plymouth Acclaim (not sure if it's spelled like that)

That thing (Windstar) as been through 2 engines but nothing else has been replaced. The first engine was because 200,000+ miles but the other was lack or maintenance. Other then that, it's been oil, brakes and tires... that's it.

lol 110 screaming hp

We had a bunch of old Detroit stuff through the 80's, then it was a minivan and then a taurus and finally a geo.

My personal list is a Z31, a Pulsar, a S13 and finally the S12.

'86 GT-S had 135hp, and a 7200 rpm redline solid lifter 3s-ge. It would do 135mph.

Favorite car would have to be the 1999 Z28 or the 2000 SS. Both fast cars, each had their own good and bad points. If I had to choose though, i would pick the SS. it was convertible, 6 speed and loud as hell

This thread has too much quota. I would rather read about one favorite car in particular than to read a cold list of pwned automobiles. This isn't to say that the lists here, (from what I have quickly scanned over), consist of mere hoopties, because that just isn't the case. To me, just naming the car dosen't tell the whole story, and can only incite passion in someone who has also owned the same car. What was the favorite, and why? If there are numerous favorites, then just pick one, or if you want to write more choose two.
