I purchased a mines tuned ecu off of ebay and didn't read the whole posting before buying. It was a bid and obvioulsy won because no one else wanted it.

The seller said he had a short in his wiring harness and it burned out the ecu. He said you can repair it but I wanted to see what Nico thaught on that was.

Can you repair a burned out ecu and how much would it cost?

I guess you missed the question. How much would they charge?

not that i missed the question. but i have never attempted to be baller like that and buy a mines tuned ECU.

plus the guy at e-mance has really good rep because of the flexible cost. so i knew if you went that route you would not be dissapointed. didnt even know if he was the guy to contact.

post back what kind of setup youll be having arranged.

good luck!

Actually the ecu is for a pretty much stock setup other than a fmic and better air intake. It has a higher fuel curve and some other things. I've done a little searching up on them and people are trying to sell them for 200 and up. I got stuck buying mine because of a bid and didn't know it wasn't working. I'll end up paying 120 for the ecu and fixing it. So I'm pretty happy with that. Thanks e-mance!
