just got my harness back from carl h he did an awesome job on it. but im still havin the same problems. the engine wont run with the maf hooked up it just shuts off. im getting codes 12, 13, 43. i read a forum a while back about a guys car that was getting 13 & 43 all he did was replace the ignitor and it worked, so i'm, going to try that. after checking my ecu 4 or 5 times i didnt see anything out of the ordinary, so i do not think it is fried because it still works. (check thread southern fried ecu). it also wont crank wth maf hooked up either so im at a loss now can anyone help

Your ECU can have problems without apparent burns etc.. inside.

Get another, I have a spare for troubleshooting. Great to have around for situations like this.

sir get off your duff and get a multimeter! It's time you took some responsibility and checked your voltages and resistances. You wanna get this beast running you need to report your voltages at the ignition relay and eccs relay and ecu voltages for power. I guarantee you this can be solved. I see your at a military installation you need to find someone that's an electrician/avionics technician and show them the schematics/wiring diagram. They will guide you properly.

Military life is great but the marines make you earn every enjoyment of it. Get a pic of the board and i'll tell you if you can resolder it

if you can get me a picture of the damage i can tell if it's fixable or not. if it's jsut a popped trace i can fix that, if there's more damage to the actual circuits then it might not be fixable.
