brakes turn dash lights on wtf!

Today i realized that if i hit the brake my dash lights turn on along with the dash lights, ashtray light and the auto shifter lights.

I just barely noticed it and i haven't dont anything electrical to the car, i did spin out today(Scary) but i dont see that causing this.

Oh and i did actually put a new bulb in my rear light assembly but thats a long shot to be the cause.Any ideas?

well all i got to said is check your relays. and check if you put the right bulb on the rear and need more info before the problem happen.

What information do you need?When i hit my brakes the front blinkers go on they dont flash just just both go on as well as my interior lights.Its like if you turn the switch on the light to the second click not the one to turn your headlights on just the one before it. I hit my brake lights and its pretty much like turning the switch. I let go and it goes off.I just noticed it a few days ago idk if its been doing this.Also my right rear tail light went completely out, none of the red lights go off but the blinkers work.The bulbs look fine and i cant imagen that all the bulbs would go out at the same time. They worked last night and tonight my dad lets me know its out when im driving away.oh and my third brake light just decided to start working but only half of it...... It did not work previously

Have someone turn on your parking lights and see if the rear ones go out when they hit the brake. I've seen bad grounds cause the tail lights to back feed the parking lights before.

the right parking light and brake light are randomly working, if i remove a bulb from the left assembly and put it in the right assembly and keep the left assembly with one bulb missing the right assembly works but the left will not even with 3 bulbs still in it.But earlier today my parking/brake lights were working but only one bulb was lit and the left assembly was fully lit then later tonight the right assembly went back out.Also to mention the bulbs on the right assembly have two little springs in them that light up and only one spring in each bulb was lit.So im guessing the bulbs are out, are these light assembly anything like christmas lights were if one bulb goes out it breaks the circuit?Im gonna get new bulbs when i get money.And my third brake light stays on only half lit and sometimes doesnt go on at all.But i still can figure out why my interior lights go on when i hit the brake.

Im so confused the lights are so random and i hate electrical problems.

Have you messed with your head unit? like the wires behind it? My buddies s13 does the same thing, And when he turns the dome light on, His clock resets and turns on and off.. Check your Head unit wiring.

head unit like for the stereo?its empty and the wires are all butted.
