torion bars on 89 4wd

I cant figure out how to get the torsion bars out got the adjuster screws backed off but cross member wont drop low enough to pull torsion bars out am i missing something?

got any pics? i'm not too sure of the exact setup on the 89

ok. On the other side of the crossmember that the adjusters are on... there is a bushing/covering on the torsion bar itself (its like a boot) well pull it back, and it should reveal a Snap spring. Pop it off and DO WORK! lol

thanks guys but i got it i forgot about the bolts going to the a arms.
