I'm going to be painting my stock S14 honeycomb rims tomorrow at the body shop my dad works at, and I was just wondering which color would go well with my 240's OEM green?

I decided to probably just paint them black, but that's just too overplayed. . . So I was just wondering if there's a hidden color out there that just might fit perfectly with my cars color? Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Here's a pic of my car on the side.

Hmm. . . Could look good. Times like these, I wish I had decent photoshop skills to test it out on my wheels.

Why would you even touch them? They're stock.

No matter how hard you try, they're going to be ugly. And by painting them, in my opinion, it will make your car look crappier.

Alright, got it painted today, it looks freaking awesome in person. So shiny and smooth.

My dad put 6 coats of black base paint, and then two coats of clear. And before applying the paint, we used 440 de-greaser, and wiped the rim clean from all the dirt, then we sanded it, and air blasted it. So all in all, it looks perfect.

Trust me, it looks great. All I need to do is take a picture with the flash option off (cause you can see all the grime from the tire). When the camera flash option is active, it really shows the dirty tires and grime on it etc. I'll have to take some normal outside pics and you will see what I mean.

It didn't cost me much really, only $20 (including wet sanding, and buffing my zenki plastic headlights. Now they look like glass.

If your dad works at the auto body shop you should get the paint hookup and do the car as well, while fixing the dent by the passenger headlight. Could make it something less green, but i only like white/black/gray cars cause im boring. I'll wait for daytime clean pics of the wheels cause those pictures make them look terrible, i mean the black looks good but its so damn dark compared to the soft black of the tire and fender liner it just looks funny. That and the dirtyness. To each their own!

There you go guys, here it is outside. Those previous pics were just horrible due to the camera flash, and darkness of the underground parking. But this is how it looks when it's parked in normal conditions. As you can see, it looks amazing.

imo what you should have done is either deal with them and save up for some better wheels or just paint like the inside of the spokes and leave the main face stock color but polished and refurbish the center caps that would look good i think but idk just something that poped into my head
