Correct Horsepower Number

I just bought a 2009 Nissan Armada LE where I live in Dubai. Everywhere I read on line it says that the 5.6L Endurance has 317hp but the dealership where I bought it advertised it as having 360hp, which I found strange but the salesman told me that the new '09 Armada had the engine tweaked a bit from the previous year. Any of you know which number is correct?? I looked in the owners manual and couldn't find anything. Your input is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi - I would suggest http://www.edmunds.com and once you look up the car, choose "specs" on the left hand side. That will tell you.

It has been known that Nissan gives underpowered ratings to some of their vehicles (for whatever reason). I believe if you go to Nissan's Saudi Arabian website it shows the 5.6 with a hp rating of over 400hp. Some have had the Armada on the Dyno and also showed over 400hp. So it wouldn't totally be unrealistic to have a rating higher than what Nissan claims.
