that box is your style cause its riced out. with extra plastic tacked on to the box and LED lights. i think it would match all the other rice stuff you've done to the Q. I don't mean anything bad by that... im just sayin.

HID's in headlights that arn't designed for HID's is rice.

Tinted tails can be tastful, if the rest of the car is tasteful. If you see a BMW 7 series lowered on nice wheels, and an really nice A/C Snitzier exhaust, and has tinted tails, it will look good. If you see a Dodge Neon, with yellow racing stripes, Touring wing, hub caps, lots of antennas on the roof, super dark tint, and hood scoops, and has tinted tails, your gonna think its all rice.

anyway about the subs, the subs them selves are probably fine, I use to have some infinity Cappa subs back in the day, and I thought they sounded good. But what your getting here is all asthetic. it looks all crazy and different and thats what your paying for. the subs could probably be bought for $80 each, so your paying $200 for a Taiwaneese made box that if your lucky is made of MDF, but most likely not. You can find a local stereo shop to make you a box for less then that, and will be made to correctly complament your choice in subs.

If your looking for a premade box that looks cool, and actually functions, look into JLAudio High Output boxes. I think they still make them and they sound really good. I installed quite a few of them back when they first came out. they run a couple hundred more then that infinity box, but the difference is night and day.

dude I don't think you've learned anything from being on NICO. Cant change a baller if a baller don't wanna change!

YIKES...some serious luv in this thread!!! LOL

Anyhow, I am not a huge fan of infinity subs but it all depends no the listener..

I would say go have a demo or listen to them and judge for yourself..

I knew a dude who had two 12" inifnity kappa(I think) subs in a huge ported box that took up most of his trunk and he was LOUD..like..bass out your..as..umm...ears loud

Another thing is that a sub will sound just as good as the enclosure that it is in

Good Luck

damn y'all are harsh on the dude my next topic is gonna make me look like a ricer when i get the rest of my lights in the mail.

but I think your all gonna like what I have done anyway.

That box doesnt look like it will hold up if you plan on playing your subs loud all those plastic pieces will slowly loosen up and start rattling I would say keep looking.

He's been trashing everyone else's rides lately so we're just giving a little back. The funniest part is he'll say something insulting then someone replies and he b****es out and doesn't respond.

slickroger, while we're on the topic of ricers, did you ever use the colored cellophane to change the dash clock color to blue? I'm trying to do the same thing and I picked up a couple of colors because I wasn't sure which would change it to blue but I haven't tried any yet. What color did you use?

anyone who buys infinity subsshud prob take a long walk off a short cliff, and for a lil more than 380 you could get 2 alpine type S subs in a subzone ported box that slams. i know kuz i did a complete install on a buddy's blazer nd it hits hard. if u want people 2 look in the hatch and be impresses by shiny plastic and lights go for it, kuz they wont be inpressed by the sound. I love car audio and have a system thats blown out 3 of my rear windows, and it looks mean because one its a 4.5 cubic foot box, two the amp is huge and weighs about 45 lbs. ill post a pic so u cn c it.

on the left is the capacitor, on the right is the ampyou can see how big the box is....a close up...1/0 power wire, good for 300 amps of current.the RFX-9420 head unit w/ the amp's para/punch EQ tuner below it and the Xstatic batcap 2000, i also upgraded the factory ground by adding a 1/0 cable to the frame.and this system is still not done! lol

ya its pretty sikk, rockford calls it a hybrid cap, works wounders. i have a pretty annoying light dimming problem when the systems crankin, so if i didnt have it i cant imagine how bad it'd be. i needa get a high output alternator. lol
