There is this planet called Neberu that is just outside the pluto's boundries, that enters out solar system every 3500 years, as recorded by the Egyptians and NASA. Well, that planet has very high temperatures, and every 3500 years that it passes the earth, it f***s up our environment, hence global warming and the shifting of the earth's axis. That planet is almost here, and will reach the earth in 2012. My belief is that since the planet is very very very very hot, and exerts a s***load of heat, that when 2012 comes it will blow up every nuclear missile, bomb, factory, car, gas station etc. That's how the world will end.
This theory is bad on SO many levels... There is nothing nearly believable about it if you know anything about elementary astronomy.
-A planet is only a planet if it clears it's own orbit, this is the main reason Pluto was actually demoted to dwarf. Therefore this thing isn't even a planet, should it exist.
-An AU is 93 million miles roughly. It's the distance of the Earth to the sun. The sun is the most powerful thing in our solar system and it's only 1 AU away from us and were fine.
-Anything that has temps hot enough to effect earth would have to be more powerful than the sun and come closer, as stated, 1 AU is not that much.
-New Horizons, a satellite launched a couple years ago that's headed for Pluto wont be there till 2015. It is currently traveling faster than anything else in our solar system aside from light, unless there is a comet at perihelion (it's traveling at around 40,000 MPH). Pluto is farther than 30AU (I believe the avg is 38-39 AU) from Earth and it's taking New Horizons around 10 years to make it there.
-Put all this together and you'd have already spotted something this big and hot with the naked eye in the night sky if it was due to arrive here in a little over 2 years.
I'm hoping your kidding, or you might be dumber than ZOMG. I've heard about this stupid theory from other folks too and I just have to shake my head...
