My name is Josh. I have been wanting a 240 for about 8 years now, but wife and kids always came first. Now that we are doing well and all settled down my times has come! I bought this pretty much stock 240 for about 1800. My brother and his buddy from wickedinnovation.net have been doing all the work, and they are amazing.

The car still has a lot of work left to be done. Black Paint, seats, probably rota p45s, stero work...but my bro has done an amazing job rebuilding this car from the ground up....will give me many years of fun!

all labor was free99 from my brother and his buddy. gotta love brotherly love. Discount parts and freeee labor. Those guys have been amazing to me!

Im sure there are 5 million threads about it, but i have been constantly deployed all year and havent really been able to research paint... im guessing i'll probably be spending like 1500 if i dont do the engine bay? its just gonna be a metallic black...

Hey man, not sure about a dyno down here i just moved down here 2 months ago and have been traveling for 1 1/2 of them lol. I'll be back at the end of october, i'll help ya search. Not sure if you are into it because they autocross up in macon...a pretty low key, friendly enviornment from what it looks like. Anyway man, hope to meet so more more 240 enthusiasts in the area!

(the car is being built in tuned up in RI where i am originally from...i'll have it on the 25th of october or so...CANT WAIT!)

Glad you guys like the VG30 swap.. been reading alot about it all (new to the nissan scene) and i see a lot of people considering it but they all have many unanswered questions....i wanna say its not has hard as a lot of people made it out to be? That pic of the VG was pre-rebuild as well.. .alot of those rusty parts are gone... will get some new pics up when the car is delivered in a couple weeks.

I chose no 20dett cause i like being different...if you cant tell from my avatar...lol

well...like i said im new to the 240 scene.. but from what i was told it pretty much just dropped right in with almost no modification... and they are trying to leave room incase i ever have the money for turbo-mode. So i'm not sure... i can get a better answer for you soon though.

I see that engine in my z32 all the time, but it being in an s13 makes that engine so much hotter.

he lonismos, its no big deal if your not completely setup, ive personally never done it before...ive raced crx's at spa francorchamps when i was living in belgium, but im really interested in giving autocross a chance. They have catagories for everyone man... people show up in stock fits and stationwagons... its more about having a good time ... dont let the lotus on the mainpage fool you... haah http://www.mgascca.org/

and for bmxer..there was very little modification done....i mean..from what i was told they pretty much dropped it in... i'll send ya a message though when i talk to my bro next.

He said no oilpan mod was needed... it clears by like 3mm.... he said as long as cradle mounts are made right you wouldnt even need to mod the 4.5 v8.... oh but you do have to relocate the oil filter

I am stationed in Georgia, my brother lives in Rhode Island were the car is being built at Wicked Innovation garage in West Kingston RI, the shop's owner is from New Hampshire where the shop cars and projects are registered so that they may be legally tested on the road but don't get charged tax and arent forced to get insurance... Car will have Georgia plates fairrrrrly soon, once my personalized plates come in. 1PT21GW 5 points to anyone who figures it out.

Haha "1.21 Gigawatts? 1.21 gigawatts?Great Scott""What-what the hell is a gigawatt?""Marty, I'm sorry. But the only power source capable of generating 1.21 gigawatts of electricity is a bolt of lightning.""What did you say?""A bolt of lighting. Unfortunately, you never know when or where it's ever gonna strike.""We do now."

=)

Nice car man!! Always wanted to see that engine in a 240, looks good. Fills up the bay nicely. Can't wait to see it painted.
