Gotta root for the Phightin' Phils, even though Lidge is a complete retard and could either cost them their shot or take them all the way. Either way they have a reputation of pulling wins out of their a** to uphold. I'm just not looking forward to the mass hysteria another World Series win will bring as I live 5 blocks from Cottman and Frankford and s*** gets stupid when something like this happens.

This is just a repeat of last year, Phils beat the Rockies, then they beat the Dodgers, then they stomp on the Marlins for the World Series win. Only this year I don't think they'll be up against the Marlins.
Oh and is it just me or did baseball become like the longest lasting sports season ever? I remember when the World Series used to take place in the middle of Sept, Now it takes place pretty much the first week of Nov, and then the pre-season starts up in March,

Phillies vs Yankees at the World series, gonna be a good showdown, but I think the Phils are gonna go all the way and bring home the WS trophy again.

I've always been a Don Mattingly fan, so I've been loyal to the Yankees until he went with Torre to L.A., so that's the showdown I wanna see. In the end I hope he gets a ring as a coach since he didn't get the chance as a player.
