Wondering what your temp read out is. I have it wired to the coolant temp sensor coming off of the ECU and it seems to be reading high. Normal or just above my normal running temp it was saying as high as 266F.

Not knowing a damn thing about the HKS setup, I would say double check your power, ground, and ect connections. I think any one of those not being perfect could skew the numbers. Also, how are your battery to chassis and engine to chassis grounds?

Anyone else have any thoughts?

Whoa! Definitely double check your wiring install. 266 degrees F is way too high. You would do damage to the engine at that temp., like, not running anymore damage. Did you install a new OEM ECU coolant temp sensor? Those things go bad from time to time and will send wacky info (temps) to the ECU. Since this is where the HKS unit reads from, it might be the culprit. Replace it, it's only $15-$35 depending on where you buy it. I believe the DOHC KA ECU temp sensor is identical. Check SR FAQ's section to verify. let us know if that works or not.

Okay, I think I got it. There is eight preset algorithms in the HKS-FC and I just changed it to the one that seemed to be reading the closest. There is a chart that gives you them by Make, but the Nissan one was reading super high for some reason. After fiddling with it and one blown fuse I think I have my electric dual stage Ford Taurus fan operating right. Thanks for the help.

Oh and by the way this thing is way bad a**. I can't wait to get the water spray function going and hook up some more temp sensors to it to read other stuff.
