Yeah! It was one hell of a deal. Found this guy on craigslist.

The only downfall I can find is that it's an auto transmission, but I can't complain for the price.

Haha, I'm all around AZ. Honk if you see me

You won the 240sx lottery on that car! Very lucky find! That car is very clean and looks as though it was well maintained! The color is nice and even though it is an Automatic you should be very proud of the deal you received. Congratulations and welcome!

Keep us posted on any mods that you do in the future and make sure to keep the photos coming.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Yeah I do want to do a swap but I'm planning on doing an engine swap in the future, so I figured I'd do a transmission swap along with it.

55k ORIGINAL miles for only 4500 bucks. Holy s*** monkeys. If it was an S13 that was spotless with that kind of mileage and that cheap, I'd probably s*** my pants. Nice find bro. I swear if you crash it, the entire 240 community will come and personally kick your a**.

LOL. Trust me I'll jump off a cliff before I crash this baby.

I did do a LED Gauge Cluster Conversion though.

After:

The clock is really bright and doesn't look like a blur in person

You can dim the clock by sanding the acrylic plastic piece that distributes the light and points to the clock to a dull finish. Maybe a 220 grit.

Clean 240, and 55K miles! Thats less than most 05' cars

For the sake of not re-posting it I'll link you to it:

I bought the WLED-xHP5 and 74-xHP3 from Super Bright LEDs. Both of them have multiple LEDs on them.

Actually, I like the clock bright like that. But thanks for the advice! I know words can't really describe the feel I had when I drove away.

For both I used LEDs not incandescent bulbs.

To swap the defrogger and hazard switches follow this thread:zerothread?id=367998

except replace the bulb with a LED. Make sure you use a resistor on the + side of the LED. I recommend you read up on LEDs before you start doing this stuff.

For the HVAC it was a little harder. I put an LED behind each of the buttons by using a parallel setup on a PCB. The current setup uses 3 bulbs. If you just replace the 3 bulbs, it will come out really spotty.

Great deal and kouki, I bought my zenki 1 year ago with 20k more but 56k is epic. I love those small conversions that you have done. I may do the panel leds as well. Were the alloys that shiny when you got her? I am interested to know how can you get them to look like that.

Thanks.

They're actually chrome. I guess they were an upgrade option at the time of buying a 240?

Hi and welcome!! Super nice car, and I hope you know we are all jealous of your awesome buy. Great price!

You should do a write up on the LED lights for us non-LED informed peeps.
