research, research, research. Read up on going turbo. when you think you have found everything you need, keep reading.

Ive heard that you have to rebuild the motor, or you will shorten the life dramatically

No need for a rebuild but trust me that t25 is wayyyyyyyy too small for a 3.0. You will need a feed pipe, downpipe, oil feed and return line, intercooler and pipes, wastegate and blow off valve. You will also need a tuner of some sort or a fmu . You will need a larger fuel pump as well.

There is alot more to turboing your car than just putting a turbo on the car. You need to do some more reading before you even attempt to put it on. I can make you feed pipes and what not if you were fed spec'd but cali spec i can make it close . You would need to have it moddified to fit your car which should cost too much .

2nded. The 300ZX Twin Turbo uses T25 compressors and the 88-89 300ZX had a T25 which was overly too small for that engine. They wanted one that small simply for fast spool but that Z was only making 205 hp so you wouldn't really get a whole lot out of it.

Turbo's are ALWAYS worth the trouble. However, an automatic is not.

s*** a turbo automatic is the best thing to ever happen. No lift to shift. No loss of boost. And will always be quicker. Trust me i am building a turbo auto and will ine up with your manual anyday.
