was doing 120 mph and decided to do a little brake test

it almost seemed like as soon as the brakes got hot ( @ 100 mph) the front end started to make a severe bearing noise. As the braking continued it started to fade and stop @ about 65 mph. It does not do this when i slam on the brakes from 70 mph.

now i'm thinking this might be related to my steering wheel shimmy i get from time to time (goes on and off @ a constant speed over 45 mph

about the car:

- 1991 180sx (Nissan Altima front brakes)- NO ABS- bearings changed 5000 miles ago with SKF bearings- front brakes changed 5000 miles ago ( ATE sloted rotors, Raysbestos ceramic pads)- new adjustable tension rods- one new inner and outer tie rod- new lower control arm asy. with new ball joints and bushings- energy suspension rack and pinion bushings- Cusco Coilovers- wheel centric collars- 16inch enki wheels with Sumitomo tires ( balanced twice @ different shops)- with a mesuring tape wheel aligment

any help would be appreciated
