I've been running these in 255/40-17 up front for nearly a year. They seem to grip well and still have a ton of life left. However, considering the cost for them, I'd spend less and get a better tire.

Also, I tried them in the rear for a drift event and they tore themselves apart on the second run. Complete waste of money for the rear. I only had one set of them with me so I didn't get a chance to run them backward to see if that helped with the wear. (I've heard that running tires with a v-tread design backwards allows them to wear evenly for drifting)

I had 225/50/16 GSD3s on my 16x8s and they were big disappointment to me especially since Car and Driver made them out to be then next coming of Christ (I swear Goodyear paid Car & Driver).

I agree with TerminalVelocity 100% about spending less and getting a better tire.

Cons: Price to perfomance, not responsive, and the notorious poor ride quality Goodyear seems to incorporate into all their tires (I've worked for Discount Tire for 5 yrs and had the GSD3s and can tell you that it's no surprise when customers complain about vibrations with Goodyear products)

Pros: wet weather traction, Low noise, steady state lateral grip, cool tread design if your into looks.

In my opinion Goodyears are a waste of money.
