2008 or 2009 grill fit on a 2006? Also, name of part over the wheel - plastic

Hi guys again..i have 2 questions:

1)Can the 2008 - 09 grill fit on the 2006? I really like the different grill and would like to get one and put on my 06.

2)What do you call the part over the driver side front whell....the plastic part, that "protects" the car from mud, dirt, etc from the wheel...wheel well? mines is torn, need to replace.

1. No, it will not fit, it is completely different.

2. Did you check to see what they call it in the service manual?

Thanks for replying. I don't have the service manual...i went to infiniti's site, but they make you pay to get that manual..i only got the regular manual, and it has nothing in it on that part.

Is there a link where i can download the service manual?

Do you mean the wheel well liner? I am guessing so.

The hood shape didn't change from 04-07 to 08-10. The grilles are interchangeable.

Are you sure? Cause if you are, that's GREAT news...i'll definitely get the 08 grille and put in my 06..

INCORRECT!!!! The grille is completely different starting in 2008!

The Grill is different but the body is same shape.Those are interchangeable without any modification since I swapped 08 grill with 06.

It does fit, for the record. I replaced my 2006 grille with a 2008 one. Perfect fit, just screws. Took me less than 45 min.
