My QX4 wont start...

So i got into the QX4 this morning, and it will crank, but it wont even sputter or turn over. No CEL, its been sitting for a few days, but it drove fine then. What do you guys think?

Maybe check the battery? Perhaps you have a bad ground somewhere.

this happened to me when i was using an unprogrammed key...probly not your case though

Right as i was thinking about selling it too...are there any common problems with the Pathys/QX4s that would cause this?

Yeah, sometimes the telepathy control unit works too well and disables the ignition when the owner has thoughts of selling it...

Does it have spark?

Does it have fuel?

If my timing belt broke, wouldnt i have heard something?? I ran fine the other day, then i got in it in the morning and all it would do was crank, but not turn over.

an R50 with the VG33 engine (like Arenics, and mine) has a timing belt an R50 with the VQ35 engine (like Pwnin's) has a timing chain so it depends on which engine....

I was wondering if anyone has a similar issue of their QX4 (2001). Car will not start intermittently. Turn key and you hear one click and that's it. Similar to when you start the car in Drive. I jiggle the gear shift and try a few more times and then it works. Is this the beginning of the starter going bad? It's not the battery as I changed out the battery unless there is a bad connection somewhere. Any guidance would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

Did you check to see if you have an engine code????? It might be one of your sensors that might of gone bad..

I didn't check my codes but I'm assuming the check engine light would come on if I had a code. Is it possible for there to be a code without the check engine light illumuniated?

Sounds like inhibitor P or N switch or sloppy ignition
