im building my 200sx SE

i want 333whp from the turbo block on pump gasi want 400whp from the stock turbo block w/spray and 107octanei want 600whp from the built block on boost only.i want 800whp from the built n/a block w/spray and c16 fuel (chipped ecu)

twin ct26 single turbo supra turbos. vq40 stock manifolds. 2 different blocks to test..

It going to be a very progressive build. starting by pulling the running n/a stock engine out of the car and dropping the turbo engine into it. Then fabing up all the turbo stuff to the turbo block and running 440 injectors and a safc on the stock maf. During this time im building the n/a block and chassis to handle 800whp.

once i have everything i need for 800whp im dropping the built engine into the car and putting all the needed components into place.

im building it to drag or drift with quick change rear springs and shocks.

800whp on a junk motor with used injectors and a ROM tune? It's fun to dream.

Clean S12 however!

If you get 800HP outta that, I'll personally drive down to where you live and apologize. No joke.

But until then, BULLSH*T.

I like your goal for the car, but if you get it all done and get it on the track, I hope that poor car holds together when you punch the gas for the first time. I can picture the engine of the car being the only thing making it to the finish line with 200sx parts laying on the track leaving a trail behind you. I'm not flaming you, it was just a funny thought.

Good luck with it though!

Sincerely though, good luck, OP. Not enough S12 representation around.

I'd set my powergoals lower if it were me, though. That's like building a 1000whp AE86... its like Why?

why not?

i think in the end it will hang with whatever i throw at it with what i got planned for it.

im doing an 8 point cage and mildly seam welding the body, plating the rear trailing arms and beefing the drive train mounting points on the chassis. with the help of a freind of mine that runs SDHQ.

800lbft clutch driving a ppg gear set with os giken shafts, custom driveline and half shafts, Detroit Locker in cabin air locker differential. if the hub splines go then ??? custom billet hubs.

but i think i will be alright considering 1sikz has ran a 9.2 on the stock drivetrain in a heavier z31 (1.3 60') so if i break 9.9s (1.3s 60') without breaking something then ill be happy

i have a question,1 what do you do for a living?2 thats alot of cash to throw into such an old car, and a rediculous amount of work just for 9 second time slips, why not just get an easier platform? or is it just a personal preference to the car?3 all that and your still gonna run a 150 shot? knowing full well the intracacies of nitrous oxide?4 your gonna go through with this and trust it to used, old, oem parts?5 have you ever driven on straight cut gears? why straight cut any way?and 6, someone correct me, but i was under the impression that air lockers wont work with IRS?

anyways, nice idea, like to see it materialise, but personally, i dont think you quite thought of all things on this, goodluck

1 im an electrician, mechanic and entrepreneur.2. its a very rare car(s12 hard top SE), its light and rwd, and its super clean. plus i want to put a fire under the s12 aftermarket.... and this isn't my only race car, i have a v8 powered rx7.3. nitrous is very cheap and very reliable.4. the whole setup has already been checked out. the car runs right now with no problems. the only things in the end that will be oem is the crank and bare block/heads. but it will be a progressive build.5. straight cut because its stronger and cheaper then billet helical gears and i like the noise they make. plus ill only be upgrading once i break the stock s***.6. they make r200 diff centers for pathfinders etc. but im not 100% it will work for me, and plus if it dont fit then ill just get something else.

something i noticed, the only things worth money here would be......................................................

2 ct26s? 200-300 bucksand everything eles on your parts lists you have already, none of which are going to get you near your goal.

read back thru your needed list. thats what you need.

till then im calling b/s

I can't wait until your s***ty welded diff blows at 800hp. They can handle HALF that, at most. And thats with a 5/8" PLATE welded into them.

one of my friends bought it for his 300zx and it didn't fit. so he traded me this turbo straight across for it.

You should be a comdian, seriously...

You're going to attempt to get those numbers on an SAFC? Stock Supra Turbos?

This thread may be full of fail...
