Ok so I have the stock tt rims on my N/A but everyone keeps telling me one of the rims are facing the wrong way. I cannot tell. But if you look at the photos and tell me which one and you have/need that one I would be more than willing to swap.

My nxt option would be to find one for sale and swap if they had the same prob.

Mine came from the factory like that-ordered it how I wanted it and they screwed me lol

ok you tell me i because I seriously cannot tell

Haha I looked under your avatar to see where you're from and it says you're from NICO!

But yes, OP, like he said and like I said in the other thread, it's your right rear. Are you sure they're TT wheels? TT fronts are same as NA (7.5" wide with 225/50 tires) and the TT rears are 8.5" wide with 245/45 tires.

not seen this anywhere else on here yet and not sure if the tt wheels are stamped like the n/a wheels are but the wheel will tell you which side it belongs on. my wheels are n/a and they were on the wrong side till my mechanic told me how to tell. hope this helps, sry if you already know.

the L sitting by itself in the stamp is left side notation

the R sitting by itself in the stamp is right side notaion

maybe the pics are big enough to see the letters

this is more of a mess now. I only have one rim stamped like that. I had one replaced a lonnnng time ago it must have been that one because the others do not have this stamp. Maybe this is the difference from the N/A rims and the TT rims? Which are which though>?

I think those people making a big deal about the wheels facing the wrong way should probably relax -- they're just wheels. Just sayin'.

its not that i'm making a big deal I just want to restore the car to perfect condition. And with that I am pretty picky about appearances etc. Attention to detail I guess.....I may be a bit ocd too lmao

Yes I would like to be smart and not send a rim off blindly to someone I do not know in hopes of getting a rim returned to me. And I said fly or drive. My rims in those photos are dirty so no im pretty sure in this moment they are in "way better shape" than the ones on my car.

I am not saying no I would just like to do it in person. Still waiting on the photos- but either way if you cannot understand the need to do it in person than we shouldn't swap.

It's frustrating when you answer a question in detail to have someone ask it a few posts down...

I have two ideas. One was sent away for repairs and there is a possibility that they replaced it instead with one facing the wrong way or two it came from the factory that way. There is another user that told me a while back that this is somewhat common.

no. japanese don't make mistakes like that

here's a third idea: one wheel was scraped so you bought another one thinking it's all the same and got the wrong one.
