I know this is a Nissan forum but I'm sure many of you have some love for the RX-7s. Well every year on 7/7 there is a massive RX7 meet at daikoku futo in Japan. Famous tuners (such as Amemiya) and D1 drivers come out as well as 500+ RX7 enthusiasts. I drive an S15 but love a good RX7, so I wasn't about to miss this chance.

I took a bunch of pics and put them together into a gallery which you can all view here:

http://urbanslide.com/gallery/?path=./RX7day/

let me know what you think!

That white car was really lame I thought. It had a lot of money and work put into it sure but the style scremed tacky to me. To top it all off, he thought he was Mr.Cool cause he had a LHD swap.

That isn't my cell phone camera. It's nighttime and I dont have a tripod. Also, these kinds of events that are planned or not, aren't that uncommon so I stopped caring about getting perfect pics of everything everytime a long time ago.

I'm an American living in Japan. I came here for college and graduated a bit ago and have stayed here since.

If you have an interest in visiting Japan, I highly recommend it! Tickets for Japan from the US are the cheapest they've been in years right now.

where is that event being held? I've seen pictures of other meets that were held there. seems like a popular spot.

**edit** Guess I should have checked the speedhunters site first! "Daikoku Parking Area under the Yokohama Bay Bridge "

Keep your eyes open in the next few days for pics from last nights GTROC meet at Daikoku.

Dino Dalle Carbonare, one of the guys who shoots for Speedhunters, owns the Blue R34 GT-R that was in the RX-7 meet article. He's a really nice guy, too.

I see that Dino didn't get Koji's RX-7 in there.

Mason got a ride in that car a few days after we first met them back in May. I hear it's pretty fast and would like to get a ride in it myself.
