a/c fan...do you mean the radiator fans?

if it's not cold all the time you may need to pressure your system back up with the proper freon.

Please clarify the exact nature of your problem. What are the settings on your AC control panel when your AC is not blowing cold. Are you in ECON mode??

Assuming you are in AUTO mode and the blower is working normally, there are several reasons for your AC problem:-compressor is inoperative or dying-A/C compressor clutch is not working properly (check if it engages or not)-low freon level (maybe due to a leak. If so, fix the leak first, evacuate the system and then recharge with exact amount of refrigerant and oil)-Dual pressure switch open (maybe due to abnormally high/low compressor pressure)-defective expansion valve (too low or too high level of refrigerant to evaporator)-dirty or clogged evaporator (air flow restriction)-etc.
