Hi everybody,anybody.
Does anyone know where i can get/or know any info about the wiring side to the engine loom? Any wiring diagrams? Any information would be great help, powering up the ecu? etc.
How did the engine fit . Ive got a vh45 in my xy ,which is narrower, and it took a lot of cutting to sit it in, and a heap of money on RRS suspension and a rack conversion . A cleveland would have been soooo much easier . Try contacting Mettler he has a vh41 and may be able to help with a service manual . I had a link to a web site called phatG20 that had manuals but its gone off line . Good luck
Mine sat in in there very nice and snug, about a hand space either side of the shock towers. However the bonnet will have a nice hole in it for the Oct-throttle body plenum set up...
I'm assuming you're using the JDM VH with the factory ECU? I found the 1994 Q45 was the closest available diagrams, although not perfect. The main thing is the power & earth pins and all the main wires to the engine are right. The ones that are different seem to be the sensors. The full manual with all the required diagrams is available from http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Q45/1994_Q45/
