Security system reset

I bought an 87 300zx and after a few months of work, I'm ready to crank it. The dadblasted security light won't stop flashing so how do I reset the thing??????

There might be a fuse for the security system. I'll take a look at the FSM and see if I can see anything obvious. Also unlocking the door with the key usually does it in most other Nissan cars.

Hey thanks for the advice and all systems go on the security reset. I disconnected the pos bat term turned the key switch to on then connected the battery which turned out great. That still want start the car but I now it wrks. -Kid Dynamite-
