top mount question

this for all the top mount guys. I'm in the process of acquiring a to4e and was going with a top mount setup can you purchase a turbo elbow and downpipe or is this something i'm gonna have to make because my Jedi kung-fu Macgyver skill are great but not that good

You could buy the elbow and the downpipe for the turbo.

Getting it to line up to your exhaust depends on how the exhaust manifold+elbow+downpipe is made.

Go for a Peakboost kit. Comes with the Manifold, Downpipe, Wastegate, Dump pipe, and a T3/T04e turbo.

well to make a long story short i already own the turbo i just have to go pick it up from an uncle. well i've heard peakboost but 500 is steep for cheese looking piping (not calling it cheese but the picture does not do it justice)anyone on here used this downpipe and elbow before. If i wanted to make my own downpipe were would you get the flange for the downpipe, looked on garretts site and did not see anything and googled it not exactly sure what i'm looking for.

Also could i just make a custom turbo elbow to connect to my pre-existing 3 inch downpipe. Yeah just take the turbo elbow off measure and make a new elbow

A guy on ebay does mandrel bent tubing for pretty cheap . He made mine specific , mild steel ,3 inch 6 inch leg on one side and 24 inch leg on the other . for 37.00 shipped ,he does good work . And its American made . Heres the link .

is there a difference b/w top and bottom mount?

yes the turbo on bottom or the turbo being on top of the manifold. topmount mostly for more space to put bigger turbos on.
