Don't have pics of it but I stitch welded every other inch in engine bay and filled/sanded over with JB weld for a flush smooth look.

Nice job on the welds 240coupe!

I just did floors in 240Z.

I used a MIG welder, lower temperature than TIG. Keep everything as clean as possable, take your time. I recommend starting out in the areas not so visable, you will get better. Leave the "Hollywood" areas (strut towers) for last. Your beads will look better over time.

Anything from Miller, Lincoln, and Hobart are quality. I would get a 140amp mig, with gas. Your not going to need the 140amp output for this thin stuff, but you may want to weld something else down the road, and you for sure want solid wire and shielding gas.

Any of those three are a safe bet, and have solid warranties. Learning to weld and owning a welder are great, and a welder if you take care of it is something you can have for a long time and use it for all sorts of applications.

I picked up a clarke 130n from Northertool.com

It was an awesome deal. Came w/ a cart and everything. U can flux w/ it or u can mig. I've had it for abuot 3 years and no problems.

Back from the dead... anyone else got photos.

I am specifically looking for stripped S14 photos. Areas of concern etc...
