Ive been reading and learning a lot on this site for the last year or so, and I finally decided to join. I bought a 1998 240SX a few months ago and I gathered up enough courage to try and show it off on here. Im posting some pics of it so let me know what ya think. (Be gentle guys, ive read a lot of these threads) And before anyone says it, I know the wheels gotta go (XXR 962's 17x9) but I bought em before I knew any better.Mods so far; JDM front bumper, AEM Short Ram Intake, Tein SS Suspension, NISMO 2 1/2" Exhaust, Polyurethane Bushings & Carbon Fiber Hood.

Thanks! These are the wheels im hoping to get in the future, NISMO LMGT4's. The previous owner removed em prior to selling me the car (DAMNIT) Either that or ill look for some Bronze Volk TE37's or 350Z wheels.

It's a great start for a car. I'm neutral on the wheels. Yes, you could have gotten something better, but at the same time, those wheels aren't that bad. I'm not a fan of the hood either, but if you like, that's all that matters.

The weight difference between the stock steel hood and the carbon fiber made me a fan for sure. I would paint it if the fitment was as good as stock though.

A bit off topic, but is your username based off the DJ? DJ Frankie Bones?

Que pasa Frank? This is Nacho from the pipeline meet 2-3 weeks ago. I drove the black hatch w/ gold gram lights. I thought the meet was pretty good for being my first one. I'll definitely be out there more often in the summer.

p.s. You would mention your nismo exhaust... lol

Kind of, my Friend DJ Saturn starting calling me that since about '95 (with my name being Frank and all), around the same time I found out that there was an actual DJ named Frankie Bones already and I liked his music so I didnt mind, besides I dont DJ myself so its just a nickname. Best DJ ever though I gotta say is DJ R.A.W, AKA BBOY3000, AKA 6BLOCC.

You know someone who will smog you??? Noticed you were from Cali aswell. I mean you got kouki tails just some nicer wheels with better offset and it's be a clean a** DD (IMO wheels only look weird cuz the chrome 1" face)

Whats your plans for it Driving and Mod-wise?

Just really looking forward to having a turbo under the hood (KA-T or SR)someday. That and finishing up the suspension. The interior is going to remain untouched for a while, im not really into the whole racing seats or steering wheel look. I want to keep my car as clean as possible
