I just want to show some apprieciation for a fallen 240 tonight. A drunk driver hit one of Nico's members late april 10th while driving his newly sr'd 240sx. the drunk was driving a new ford f350 when he decided to come out of a gas station and get into the wrong lane right in front of Dak0n. Dak0n swerved but even the megan racing coilovers, wide tires, and road hugging suspension couldnt avoid the truck. Dak0n had finally saved the money to buy the his beloved s14 sr20det that he had wanted for years, all to be taken away by a careless drunk.

i just want to say that my hat is off to dak0n for building one of the nicest 240s and were all thankful that you are OK.

Found out why it happened. That to bad, he should have saved his money and got better coilovers.

^^ not always so, we remove hats at funerals, any time you pass a hearse or proceeding...ive even heard of some people who remove hats to show respect to crows.

either way, removing your hat for any purpose in this instance a "death', is a show of respect and humility. though im not sure why this dude is posting about it instead of dakon?...man crush.

hahaha. not bromance. maybe 240 romance. his car was awesome.

ive known him for a few years now. and since ive known him he was working on this 240. i just think it was cruddy, and if it happened to one you, there would be a thread about it.

and sorry taking a picture of his crushed car while one of my friends was in an ambulance doesnt seem right.

Drunk drivers are good for these things. I'm sure he will get a nice sum of money to fund another project though.

Yeah the car is totaled and Ill be able to get some pics when the car is towed to my shop after he buys it from the insurance company.

As for the smart a** comments over the topic of his car being wrecked due to not having "top of the line" coilovers, Isn't called for. There is not much you can do when a truck pulls out in front of you head on

Just be respectful to the fact Him and his passenger weren't injured.

So is he going through the a** holes insurance? Or is he going to do the right thing and sue him all the way to jail. If the guy can get a new f350 then he can afford to rebuild that 240.

see even if they are cheap wheels they survive. I really think it depends on what you hit and how hard you hit it to break a wheel
