Hi, my names Drew. I love 240sx's since i was a kid. I like the sleek lines and the design of the car. When i was young there wasn't that many modded imports were i grew up, until High School. Even then, most kids from my high school didn't have 240s. They all drove civics integs and supras. It's not like i don't like those cars, but I've never thought that those cars were for me. Don't get me wrong, there cool when you fix them up. In high school my aunt gave me her 1990 240sx se. It was getting old and she decided to buy a new car. The downer about it is the automatic transmission and im pretty sure it has the gheyest engine you can get in it (KA24E) i think. I loved the car though. I drove it everywhere. After high school i started f***ing around, i got into lots of trouble and stopped driving. I left the car out in the driveway and haven't drove it daily since. It can still start i just need to get a battery for it. i bought a new battery for it less than a year ago, but since i don't start the car so much i guess the battery got flat and now i gotta get a new one. I started driving my dads truck and never had the money or now how to really fix my 240 up. That was the past. I have an OK job now as a barback and im going back to school so i can get to a university or state. So i would like to have the 240 as my project car for the next couple of year so i can drive it daily to school. and work. This is also the first forum i ever posted on so hopefully this is a great forum to get to know other 240 owners. WHATS UP!... this is my 240 that i wanna fix up....

Super clean man. My brother had one just like that in high school except a 5spd. Remember to take your time when building a car. Don't rack up the bills only to have to sell it. I would start with a 5spd then suspension and brakes. Do not forget to use the SEARCH button above. It's your new best friend.

Welcome to Nico! As stated, very clean car! Please be responsible while you are driving and don't attract the police as it will only hurt you in the long run. I know sometimes you have to learn the hard way which is what it sounds like you have already done. Insurance goes up, motor vehicle moving violations tickets, court, chance of wrecking, etc. It gets expensive so please be careful and responsible. Again, nice S13! Most will tell you to do suspension, brakes, swap, transmission. I did the opposite sort of. I got KSport coilovers, 300zx brake upgrade, Interstate Battery, New Steering Racking and bushings, Power Brace, but I also totally converted the body with a Japanese Navan kit along with a total repaint. Just read and see what modifications interest you and make a list of what you want to do to your car and list the order of importance to you and go from there. You can also search the classifieds and the vendors under the "Marketplace" tab which should open a lot of doors for you. Again welcome and remember, when you do get some mods done be sure to share and post photos. You can upload photos to photobucket.com for free and post them in the forums.
