I just need a good way to put the subs in, I have two RF punch HX2s in Q-logic boxes right now but I hate the boxes so I will change soon, I will post more pics when Im happy.

made some cool doorpanels, with CDT CL-641's installed:

and got this beast of a sub... a Digital Designs 9015:

got a memphis 16st-200 (100Wx2 RMS) which drives components, and looking into getting a U.S.Amps 2000x which does 2000W@4 ohms bridged, or 1000Wx2 @ 2ohms.

have all monster cable wiring, and a monster digicap as well...but nothin is workin at the moment cause i need a new deck :P most likely an alpine 7995...

((said in my best trucker voice)) "NAWW AYJAY... THAT THERR IS MA CEE BEE RADIO." It has been very useful locating the super troopers that line our fine highways and interstates. Truckers always know. I have actually taken that thing out since the picture. I am starting to toy with a custom Bondo Install. More to come on that.

I really like your door install. That looks really clean. Much props bro. :ylsuper But I have to ask... what made you go without the speaker grilles? If I did that, with my luck, some girl would put their finger straight thru one of my speaker cones. Or try to. Not to mention if I was giving a ride to a buddy thats had a few too many Budweisers.:pface

I also see that you have a Mitsubishi television remote in the pic with that crazy sub of yours.

haha ya, everytime someone gets in my car, i tell them to watch out for the speaker... the 4's aren't too bad where they, but my ex-gf almost stuck her finger through the surround when her hand slipped off the window crank :pface:eek:

reason for no grills: bought speakers off ebay, and grills didn't come with them :( i want to get grills, and i probably will in the future, but i've just kinda put them off my priority list for now... the grills for the 4's might need to be modified quite a bit though in order to fit them beside my tweet (see pic)... i'd prolly have to grind down the edge of the grill quite a bit, but shouldn't be a problem

and NO SIMM, that's not a Mitsu remote... that there is an ELECTROHOME remote... prolly pumped out of the same factory though... the TV is CRAZY... it's a 27" CURVED SCREEN!! with picture in picture that i've never figured out how to use :pface

actually on a similar note of damaging my stereo accidentally, my cross-overs are in the door and are kinda unprotected, so when i open my door in the pouring rain i try to shelter them a bit ;) but I DID have one of my buddies chunder all over the door sill on the way back from a club with a drink special of $2 (CDN) high balls :pface luckily he missed my cross overs, cause at the time i had my stereo cranked... shorting out my system with spew woulda sucked soooo bad

haha ya... well i mean i think we could buy the TV's, but not the cars... there weren't any dealerships until just last year... but the only cars i liked were the older Eclipses, so i don't even really care that we got mitsu cars now... actually i'm more annoyed than anything cause now i have to look at those UGLYASS Lancer's with the Dodge Ram front end and a bumper that sticks out a foot... what were they thinking?

DAM!!!!

Thats sweet

I finally got some decent front channels and installed them this weekend

The interior is actually clean right now, I was a little premature with the pics

I think I will change them around a little, not sure how yet though. They sound a million times better than the 6.5 pioneers I had.

sweet man... i love seein custom work done to 240's... i mean it's not the prettiest but i'm sure your doors pound now.

you keepin the panel red to go with the red/grey color combo? or you gonna vinyl the panel a different color? if you're gonna keep it red did you consider painting some other door pieces red, like the handle, or the door compartment thing? i think that would look pretty cool

Im not sure yet what I will do yet, I dont really like the whole spray painted plastic thing.

I have been thinking about bleaching then dyeing the tiger stripe sh1t in the panels red, along with the glovebox cover.

ya that might be alright... but be careful when you do that stuff, it's easy to make it look bad. don't go halfass on it if you're gonna do it, and also red doors will also attract more attention to your car (theft reasons)

Yeah, I am trying to get another interior to try the dye thing first, then I will see how it looks.

I am not really worried about theft, my car is not exactly low key around here as it is. If you look at the above pictures you can tell I dont go for stealth mods. My car is parked on the U.S. Military base during the day (not exactly secure but better) and in my garage at night. The only time I worry about it is when I am at a bar or a friends house.

Anyone that knows me knows my car so if they see someone messing around with it hopefully they will say something. I have already had people call me when I was visiting my Girlfriend in the dorms, I looked outside and the people were just looking inside at the amps.

Highs, he don't need no stinkin' highs?? (Think badges)

He's got nearly 3000 watts pushing 6 12's in one BIG ARSE box, if I saw correctly. Something like highs only takes up volts, watts and space.

Neb - nice looking truck/system.
