when to go for first oil change
i have 2800 miles on my z.. when should i go in to nissan to get my oil changed? i hear its every 3k miles but the dude never told me and when i call they always keep me on hold ofr hours. its anoying

Yes 3k is a good mark. Especially it being a new motor.. you want to clean out break in shavings.
It's 3K miles or every 4 months... That's 3 oil changes a year.
You should also look at your maintenance schedule... and follow it...otherwise it could void your warranty.

thx for the info.. do i need 2 call to set up a oil change or should i just go there and surpise and say oil me biach? haha

If you're having your dealer do it, call ahead to make sure you're not sitting there for 3 hours...

yea my first oil change was a wonderful 4 1/2 hours
