So you have the switch but don't have the pigtail? No problem! And, you won't have to chop up your original harness either. This also applies if you do have the harness, but don't want to cut and splice on the JDM one. This write up assumes that you have already installed your mirrors and ran the wires to the switch correctly. The reason I did this is because I couldn't find the right size female connectors anywhere, and I've been wanting to do a write up for NICO. If you know where they can be found, please share.
As you can see your original harness does not have the two connections that would plug into the extra pins that the JDM switch has.
According to the FSM, these plugs are not used for anything, you want the one on the right.
Here they are again (the one on the left)
Your gonna wanna remove the yellow cap (this picture was taken after the two wires were already removed)
Use your sharp object (I used a razor blade) and slice off a piece from the side.
Like so. The wire along with the female connector should be accessible now. (I tried to remove the wires without damaging the plug but couldn't do it)
Now do it again, and you have the two wires with connectors that you are going to need
Grab the plug that connects to the switch and remove the yellow top
Put your two wires in there (they slide in very easily)
Put the yellow cap back on
Splice the four wires that were ran from the doors (blue and white for me). You'll know if they are switched if they close when you hit open on your switch, vice versa. (blue and a white were going to each mirror). Use solder and heat shrink for a connection that will last.
Enjoy your folding mirrors.
