I am finally making a thread for my build. I have an 89 hatch with a red top sr20. Other than the boost gauge, everything on the car is the way i bought it. I bought the car in December 2008 and paid $3600. Not bad for a running project car. this 240 #6 for me and the second sr. The plan for this one is 350-400whp with good boost response and mid- high range power.

yes the IC support is very bad but it is better than the way the previous owner had it. he just had the IC resting on the inside of the bumper causing the bumper to droop. That was a quick fix i did til i made the other brakets to take the stress off the bumper.

Is this going to be an engine build or are you just going to buy every bolt-on you can think of? Not trying to be a d!ck here. Just wondering.

yes a full wire tuck is one of the first things i am getting done... but right now since i am deployed im using this good army pay to get the parts for the build.

once i finish ordering the parts for intake and the exhaust sides of the motor, i'm moving on to the internals and drivetrain then suspension components

Lol dude burnout in the Red rose commons parking lot. That's a great parking lot to have fun in, one of my fav spots.

Looks like u have a bit of work ahead of you. Round these parts we don't like to fix intercoolers with metal straps like that, but I figure you'll redo it again someday. The coolant reservoir can't be below the fluid level unless it is designed to do do so.

Yea a lot of stuff on this car currently are rigged just so they stay in place. Only being home for 10 days when I bought the car, had to do a lot of things done on the fly while I took care of other issues before I left for Iraq. the exhaust used to only have a hanger by the cat, and the intercooler was being hed up by the bumper. That is the wasy it came when I bought it and thats why everything is getting rebuild, refreshed and or replaced: as soon as I get home from Iraq that is.

And yes Tom that parking lot is my favorite to go have a little fun in from time to time.
