Help! my z has been now looks like the new mustang... riding high on 19" chrome wheels.. Currently running 235/35/19 front 265/35/19 rear on the tires. I was wondering if a) dropping the car will cause rubbing problemsb) how much lower would it be go by moving down to 25 tire size. thanks for the feedback

If you don't like the stock ride height you can lower it, but with 19" you will have to roll the fenders for it to work. You could roll a 30 profile in the rear, but that's it. Post some pics.

OMG my brother's friend gave me this 19inch wheel with 225/45/19 front and 245/45/19 rear, damn,, is there anyway to fit this thing to the G?? It is very very rare chance for me to get those rims,, Tires are good, but i think they are too big for my car..

Sell the 19's and buy 18's. Tires are cheaper and far more plentiful and your car won't look like a ghetto mobile.

IMO 19's are too big for a Z32 and do not look right

Agreed even lowered your still taller than everyone else and you have one of the roughest rides around.

agree, even 18 is huge man, but i guess it can pass with some CLEAN side skirt and jdm front bumper. and you need to ride very stiff suspension too lol. I have mine very stiff on 18s and it seems okay right now, still want to be look a bit lower.

Yeah I've seen 19" and 20" rims on a Z around here, it is just not right. Looks like it's on stilts x.x

And wtf is with Ronald McDizzonald's ride, that thing is amazingly ugly, a disgrace to all things automotive.

That is a clean ride, but still it just somehow seems wrong, the larger diameter rims kinda makes the body look a little smaller than it should, but hey.. "To each his own" right?

19's is pushing it. 18 is very good.

I wish I had a higher resolution of that picture. It's owned by Andy... or was not sure.

yeah i think the 19's are too much rim for the z32, 18s have a good look to them

ps,nismoz32fairlady- you have to have the biggest sig ive ever seen-pretty sure the rules are 200x600 pixels

i run 19s just fine, it does sit high but im alright with it for now i plan on lowering it once i have the money. i run 245/45/r19 up front and 275/35/r19 in back. im unsure of my offsets but the only place i rub is up front on that on swoopy knuckle thing and thats only at a full cut turn. i think they look good, think theyll look great once i lower it depending on how much i have to do to lower it alot. fender rolling and such... the pictures of jsut wheel are the rears..dont have any of fronts

It doesnt look that high though, I want to use my wheels and tires or I just have to sell it and buy another one.

I just found tire calculator, and if its that big, your odometer won't be correct.. you actually travel farther but your odometer shows shorter..

like in a mile, your wheel rev for 300 for stock wheel, but then with your oversized wheel, it will rev 200,, which is just about .66mile..

so yea i dont know lol

19" G35 Rays Engineering wheels

On a 2+0, it won't look right. On a 2+2, yes.

19" is fine if you have the right wheel and tires.stay as low profile as you can. 35 series. 40 max.

that z with 19" up there does not look good at all. needs to drop a couple inch.
