Urgent help!!! ka24e to ka24de /5 speed swap problem

Ok ,I recently did a ka24e to ka24de /5 speed swap and I have lots of issues to address.I will to try to be as detailed as possible

First

I timed my motor and got it running fine.I turned it off and back on to see if was a fluke ....it wasn't . Cool cool

But my cluster didnt work at all .....no tach...no fuel gauge.....no Temp gauge nothing...but when I turn the headlight lights on ...it flashes

So i thought i was the TCU unit ....so I check that and circults were fine.I even tried to ground the red wire with the yellow strip......still nothing

Second

A couple of hours go by and I and tried to start it again and doesnt start .So i took the the spark plugs to see if they flooded.......I wipe them off and tried again ......It starts but kinda rough

Then i tried it again a couple of hours later and it started but died and was rattling ( i took the guides off along time ago)

i did the wiring right ( I followed the guide from here on nico) but i did do an extra connector that hidden close to firewall ......Could that be it

Also the fuses and alt and battery are fine

any help would be nice

First Problem:

gauge Cluster - If it is out of a 89-90 it will not work with the DE.

Second Problem:

Huh? Please explain a little more.

I know the cluster is from a dohc cam because it was in my last 240sx

Heres a pic of what im talking about

that plug controls your cluster...

nope not according to the ka24e to ka24de swap guide on here

this is one the guide is talking about

still no temp ,speedo ,powering steering is really stiff ,tach and egi fuel relay is buzzing
